A. From Massachusetts Turnpike (Rt 90) & Rt 128 to Marblehead

Take the Mass Pike (Rt 90 to Rt 128 North (also called Rt 95). Follow Rt 128N to Peabody MA (12 miles) and take Rt 114 (Exit 25A East) by Northshore Mall; follow Rt 114 (6 miles with multiple twists, turns, and lights) through Salem into Marblehead. In Marblehead, Rt 114 becomes Pleasant St. at traffic lights by Marblehead Savings Bank on right; continue to follow Pleasant St. (1 mile) to the Chamber of Commerce visitors booth (small yellow wood shack) in the middle of a 5-way intersection by National Grand Bank, YMCA, small strip mall, and Talbots.

B. From City of Boston and Logan Airport to Marblehead

From downtown Boston, take the tunnel to East Boston and Rt 1A. (Exiting Logan Airport, turn east [towards Winthrop and Revere] picking up Rt 1A directly.) Foll Rt 1A to Lynn, Ma (9 1/2 miles). In Lynn, watch for signs saying Rt 129 and take Rt 129 along ocean shoreline through Swampscott to Marblehead. In Marblehead, Rt 129 becomes Atlantic Ave; continue to follow Atlantic Ave. (3 miles) to a different 5-way intersection (5-Corner Deli will be on the left). Continue straight through intersection onto Essex St. and follow for 100 yards to the Chamber of Commerce visitors booth and the 5-way intersection mentioned above.

C. To Redd's Pond

Using either of these routes locates you at the Chamber of Commerce visitors booth in the center of Marblehead. Take Spring St. on the left by Talbots, which flows into Elm St. (100 yards); bear right and over a small hill to a 4-way intersection (1/4 mile). Take a left onto Green St. and then an immediate right onto Pond St. and follow Pond St. (1/3 mile) to Redd's Pond. Note that you can also check at the Chamber of Commerce both for exact directions to Redd's Pond.
